"We recently went away for a week and I was very worried about leaving my elderly deaf cat in a cattery so I contacted Pads ‘n’ Pets, who are very local to me, my mind was immediately put at ease. They also opened and closed curtains, turning lights on and off to make the house look occupied.

Put me at ease...

We had Pads 'n' Pets watch over our house for a long weekend which also included looking after our 4 house cats.

They did a fantastic job while we were away, they came to sort out the cats litter tray and feed the cats twice a day which also included giving medication to one of the cats, which they were able to do with no problem.

Most importantly they also spent quality time with them as well on every feed, so they are not just a turn up, feed and go service, which I think is vital when the cats are on their own for a couple of days.

I also asked if they were able to give the house a clean for when we returned for an extra cost. They did this, vacuuming, dusting and moping floors so we returned to a clean tidy house.

Great service in looking after the house and more importantly (to us) the cats but also great to come home to a clean house.

With 4 Cats going on holiday is difficult. Previously we've used cattery’s and although they would always be well looked after, our cats never enjoyed the experience. We found that placing our trust in cat sitters was the best thing ever for our cats. That’s when we found Pets n Pads.

Shelley and Amanda were great. We had a visit from them both prior to us going away. They came and learned the ropes and took us through even all the little things to ensure that they could keep our routine going as if we were not even away. Feeding, watering and managing the cat litter box as standard. As well as lots of love, attention and cuddles!

During the meeting we discussed which vets to go to in case of an emergency. All bases were covered. We were both extremely impressed with how professional and efficient the whole service was. As well as their clear love of animals. For once we felt confident and happy to be leaving our cats. Whilst away we received text to reassure us everyone was doing well, with a picture of them, which was a really nice touch.

When we got home the greatest sign that things had been running smoothly was the fact that the cats didn't even bother when we walked in. It was like we'd just been at work for a day.

It really was the best thing for the cats and that's what matters to us the most.

We recommend cat sitting so much now over taking cats to a cattery. We were really impressed with Pets n Pads. Shelley and Amanda were amazing and we will definitely use them next time we go away.

I remembered I had seen an advert for Pads 'n Pets, so I contacted Shelley and after meeting her we arranged that she would call and take Freckles out twice a week. I started using Pads 'n' Pets only this year as I hadn't been on holiday for a long while and my usual cattery had closed. As there was such a big gap I decided to have my cats looked after at home since they are both 13 and one of them is particularly shy and timid.

After checking the internet, Shelley's website appealed and she responded promptly to my enquiry. She came to my house with all the necessary documentation and to meet my pets. She is very friendly and I immediately felt at ease with her as did the cats, even my little shy one!

I texted her whilst I was away, she was happy to report and was very reassuring to an anxious mum!

Nothing is too much trouble and she was able to approach my timid cat and stroke her. My other one being a people person so no problems there.

I am extremely pleased with the way she looked after my cats and my home. The house was spotless upon my return and the cats in a fabulous condition, well fed and healthy.

I was lucky enough to take a second holiday and again all was satisfactory:

Outside and indoor lights switched on in readiness for our late return (this without being asked - how thoughtful was that!)
